A Cruise by any other name....

While we were visiting the Old Depot Museum, we were luck enough to see a couple of cruise ships docked for "shore excursions" in Vicksburg.

Seeing as we had recently returned from a Caribbean cruise, I thought it was interesting to see the difference in size,,,

I would have loved to be able to board and look around, but it was not to be.  The website offers a glimpse of the boat.

Along the riverfront was a wall painted with the Vicksburg Riverfront Murals. The murals represent life and events in and around Vicksburg and the Mississippi River.

Not a great picture because it was RAINING!, but it's pretty impressive to see in person.
